‘Don’t to the door’ at Trinamool blanket distribution ceremony, chaos in front of ministers-MLAs

The first day of the year was the foundation day of the ruling Trinamool. As usual, party workers celebrated this day through various programs at many places. In Burdwan too, a blanket distribution ceremony was organized on the occasion of Trinamool Foundation Day. And around that event came a scene of great chaos. People ran to get blankets in violation of Corona rules. Many people fell ill in the sultry crowd. The program was organized by Khokon Das, Trinamool MLA from Burdwan South.

The government is working hard to increase the spread of corona in the state. Partial lockdown is also being considered in this context. The government camp at the door has been postponed to prevent the spread of infection. However, physical distance was not followed in the blanket distribution ceremony at the ground level in Burdwan. Many people did not have masks on their faces again. Curzon Gate in the heart of Burdwan reminded me of Park Street on Christmas Eve.

People had gathered around the ground level program at Curzon Gate since Saturday afternoon. At least 5,000 people attended this program amid rising corona. Minister of State Swapan Debnath, Trinamool District President, Katwa MLA Rabindranath Chatterjee and many others were present in the function organized by Trinamool MLA Khokon Das from Burdwan South.

4 Ambulances and 2 Horse vehicles were inaugurated at the beginning of the function. After the announcement of distribution of blankets, there was a stir among the devotees. Amidst the commotion, a woman lost consciousness on the spot and fell on the ground. Several others fell ill due to the collision. However, in the presence of Trinamool MLA, Minister of State, the question has arisen whether the coronation can be done with the thumb. However, while organizing the cleaning of MLA Khokon Jaser, ‘Blankets as well as masks have been distributed. Despite the hustle and bustle of the crowd, Mike was repeatedly warned.
