New Delhi: In view of the MotoGP Bharat and International Expo 2023 scheduled to take place in Gautam Buddha Nagar, the authorities have issued traffic advisory from September 21 to September 25.

In a fresh order to make the mega events a success, the officials have marked a few areas in the district and restricted vehicle movements. As per the order, vehicles will not be allowed on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Pari Chowk Greater Noida, Expo Mart Knowledge Park and special routes – from IFS Villa roundabout to NSG roundabout, Chuhadpur Underpass Chowk, Gautam Buddha University Chowk, Noida International University, Galgotia University.

The order is applicable to the medium and light commercial vehicles going from Delhi to Noida. It should be noted that the restrictions will be imposed from September 21 from 6 am to 11 am: September 25, 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, heavy vehicles will not be allowed on DND flyway, Chilla Road, Kalindi Kunj, New Ashok Nagar and Jhundpura border. Goods vehicles are only allowed to use National Highways 24 and 91 to travel between Delhi and Noida these days.

Buses, other heavy vehicles and cars will also not be allowed on the Noida-Greater Noida and Yamuna expressways. However, means marked as essential such as milk, vegetables, medicine, etc. will be authorized.

Academic Institutions Closed 

The authorities have also announced holdiays on September 21 and 22 after 2 PM. In complaince of the order, all schools, colleges, universities and technical education institutes will remain closed from September 21 to 22 at Gautam Buddha Nagar.

UP ITS 2023 will be held in India Expo Center and Mart from September 21 to 25. Apart from this, the Indian Grand Prix, also known as MotoGP Bharat, will make its debut and will be held at Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida. The event will take place from September 22-24.

Both the events are expected a crowd of over thousand people. President Droupadi Murmu is also expected to attend these events.
