Talking about Chanakya policy and what should be done to be successful, Chanakya has described it in the 18th verse of the fourth chapter of his Niti Granth.

Even though everyone defines success differently, many define career success as the point where you are completely immersed in your work. If you are yet to find success in your career, there are many options available to you. Talking about Chanakya policy and what should be done to be successful, Acharya Chanakya has described it in the 18th verse of the fourth chapter of his Niti Granth.

He claims that most men and women get themselves into trouble by ignoring these things. By following Chanakya’s policy, you can avoid disputes and financial loss. Chanakya has talked about it in a few verses.

Chanakya talks in the verse “Who: time: what friend who country: who spends. kasyadam ka cha me shaktirithi chintyam muhurmunhu: which basically means that a person should always ask “Who am I?” “Who my friend “Where do I live?” What is my income and experience?” “Where’s my energy going?”

Apart from this, he also told some points for good life and successful career. So without any further delay, let’s start with the same.

1. Education your most valuable friend

An educated person is respected everywhere. Education triumphs over youth and beauty. By making this statement, Chanakya is trying to explain that a person may be physically weak, have average or below average looks, or may lack sufficient wealth.

However, if he is educated, he will be considered an intelligent person and will be respected everywhere. A rich man’s wealth and beauty may fade with time, like his relationships and love, but education and knowledge never leave a person in any condition. It can only be increased over time. And it cannot be taken away from you.

2. Learn from the mistakes of others

You can’t live long enough to make a thousand mistakes and learn from them. A person must watch, observe and learn from the people and environment around him. This means that apart from learning from your own mistakes, you can also learn from the mistakes of others so as to avoid repeating them.

3. Never share your secrets with anyone

Never reveal your secrets to others because you never know when they can be used against you. According to Chanakya, under no circumstances should you share your weaknesses or strengths with anyone, so that no one can take advantage of your weaknesses or prepare a strategy to counter your strengths.

4. Ask yourself these 3 questions

Before starting any work, ask yourself the following three questions:

What inspires me to do this work?

What could be the consequences?

Is it possible for me to be successful?

When you have thoroughly considered these three questions and found satisfactory answers to them, then proceed further.

Before starting any task or implementing any strategy or plan, you should always ask these three questions so that you are aware of all the pros and cons as well as the potential for success or failure.

5. Spread love and kindness

The fragrance of the flower spreads only in the direction of the wind. However, the goodness of a person spreads in all directions. A person should always be kind to others, irrespective of their culture or community.
