Does Upendra-starrer UI’s New Song Troll Take A Veiled Dig At Yash, Darshan?
Upendra’s upcoming surrealist action thriller film UI has been dominating the headlines for a long time. Viewers are eagerly anticipating more updates on the project, written and directed by Upendra. Recently, the makers surprised the viewers and unveiled a song from the upcoming movie titled Troll. The song is currently going viral and is garnering everyone’s attention for many reasons. One of them is that some lyrics of the song are an indirect dig at the Kannada stars Yash and Darshan Thoogudeep. Some feel that the lyrics have also targeted the veteran actress Sumalatha. For those who don’t know, Yash, Darshan, and Sumalatha are close friends. Yash and Darshan have campaigned wholeheartedly for Sumalatha when she stood as an independent candidate for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. She had faced stiff opposition in the form of former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s son and actor Nikhil Gowda.
