PM Modi shared an audio clip from his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aired last Sunday in which he talks about Doctor’s Day

Congratulating all doctors on National Doctor’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that India’s progress in the world of medicine is commendable and has contributed to making the planet healthier. Doctors Day is celebrated in the honor of famous doctor and former Chief Minister of West Bengal Bidhan Chandra Roy, whose birth anniversary falls on 1st July.

Modi tweeted, “On Doctors Day, my best wishes to all doctors. India’s progress in the world of medicine is commendable and has contributed to making our planet healthier.” He also shared an audio clip from his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ which aired last Sunday in which he talks about Doctor’s Day.

Modi had said in his radio broadcast, “We are all grateful for the contribution of doctors during the Corona period. Our doctors have served us without caring for their lives. Therefore, this time National Doctors Day has become even more special. ”
