Diwali 2021: Preparations are underway for the fifth Deepotsav in Ayodhya, more than 9 lakh diyas will be lit

Ayodhya Deepotsav: The UP government is preparing to celebrate the fifth Deepotsav of its tenure in Ayodhya city this year. This year 9.50 lakh lamps are set to be lit to celebrate the return of Lord Rama, an attempt by the state government to break its own record.

To celebrate the anniversary of Lord Rama’s return from exile, 32 ghats of Ayodhya will be decorated with lamps, an army of 12,000 volunteers already working to decorate them. According to the local people of Ayodhya, it is a matter of great joy and happiness.

Ghats will be lit with lamps:

More than 12,000 volunteers have been assigned the task of lighting lamps at these ghats in a predetermined order. Preparations are already underway to install these lamps in the desired order. Tomorrow, oil will be poured into these diyas after lighting a cotton wick.

Many volunteers working in this work are students of Avadh University. According to his teachers, around 36,000 liters of oil will be used to light 9.50 lakh diyas and the same quantity will be used to refill the oil. Will have to pour oil and lick tomorrow.

The preparations for the Diwali festival are almost over.

51,000 lamps will be lit simultaneously at the main ghat of Ram ki Paidi. Students of Avadh University of Fine Art will depict the events of Ram Darbar, Shabari and Kewat with the help of painting and rangoli. This painting will be decorated with lamps on the day of Deepotsav.

The main event of Deepotsav is to be held at Ram ki Paidi in the presence of the Chief Minister and all the ministers and government officials of the state. Representatives of some countries are also expected to attend the event. All the preparations for the Deepotsav are almost complete, including the podium where the idols of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lord Lakshmana will be installed.

Special security arrangements have been made:

In view of Deepotsav, special security arrangements have been made in Ayodhya as well. Police personnel have been deployed throughout the city and barricades have also been put up at the main junctions of the city. Apart from this, the road from Naya Ghat to Ram ki Paidi has also been closed. Barricading has been put on both sides of this road and no one is being allowed to use this road. No one is being allowed to use the old Saryu bridge.
