Divya Spandana And Daali Dhananjay’s Next Uttarakaanda To Roll In March

After deciding to pursue a career in politics with the Congress party in 2014, Kannada actress Ramya, who was also India’s youngest parliamentarian, has returned to acting. Ramya will once again work in the film industry, but this time as a producer and actor. Ramya, who is also known as Divya Spandana, will be working with Dali Dhananjay in his upcoming film Uttarakhand. As per industry sources, the film will go on floors in March. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Uttarakhand will release on the silver screen next year.

This is the second collaboration between director Rohit Padak, KRG Studios and Dali Dhananjay. Divya and Dali will share the screen for the first time. Earlier, Dali Dhananjay worked with Rogit Padak and KRG Studios in a comedy film titled Ratan Prapanch. Dali is currently busy with Hoysala and will focus on Uttarakhand after completing the former.

Ramya will star in her first Kannada film in the gangster drama subgenre as a feisty rural woman in her early 30s. He described his first project with the famous actress as a ‘dream come true’. A production by Raj and Karthik Gowda, the film is set in North Karnataka and will examine the conflict between the principle of good and evil and the bizarre mindset of the average man.

Under the banner of her production company, AppleBox Studios, which has produced theatrical as well as OTT films and web series, Ramya will be making her debut as a producer in this field. The actress is currently working on two films for the production company, which will be distributed by Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj of KRG Studios.
