New Delhi: Bollywood actress Disha Patani, who is awaiting the release of her next action-thriller, Ek Villain 2, has faced the brunt of the trollers as they made her the latest victim of body shaming. Disha is on a busy schedule ahead of the release of her film ‘Ek Villain Returns’.
On Saturday, the actress was spotted at a mall for the promotion of her film. She looked hot in a yellow top, which she paired with blue denim. His co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria were also present at the event. However, he was trolled extensively for the outfits of his choice while promoting his film.
Earlier in the day, Disha along with her co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria was seen in a very casual look at the airport. There once again Disha was trolled badly for her look. Trollers attacked her saying that apart from wearing nude clothes and being Tiger Shroff’s girlfriend, she has an identity.
Netizens brutally attacked the ‘Baaghi’ actress and even shamed her by calling her malnourished and flat. Some of them made comparisons with the older actresses saying that ‘Madhuri Dixit was not thin but still she was beautiful’.
Disha Patani often gets trolled by netizens for wearing exposing clothes. Recently, he is also being accused of going under the knife and getting nose and lip work done.
EK VILLAIN RETURNS
The action-thriller film is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series. It stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. The film is the spiritual successor to ‘Ek Villain’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 29, 2022. As per reports, Aditya Roy Kapur was originally signed for the role played by Arjun Kapoor but later backed out due to creative differences with director Mohit Suri.
On the work front, she has films like ‘Yodha’ and ‘Project K’ in her kitty.
