Discord in Punjab Congress has increased again. Now 40 MLAs of Congress have written a letter to the Congress High Command. In which a demand has been made to convene a meeting of the Legislature Party (CLP) of Punjab Congress. In this, the excuse is to discuss the 18-point formula of the Congress High Command, but the whole exercise is of distrust towards CM Captain Amarinder Singh. This is the reason why the legislators have asked in the letter to deploy a central observer during the legislature party meeting.

Earlier, Malvinder Mali, who was Sidhu’s controversial advisor, had also given the same opinion to the rebels. The ministers, who are angry with the Captain, are behind the writing of the letter, Tript Rajinder Bajwa, Sukhjinder Randhawa and MLA Pargat Singh, besides Sidhu are the other MLAs of the camp. The signatures of all the MLAs have been taken later in the letter.

Meanwhile, the special thing is that a 13 member committee was formed for the Punjab Congress organization headed by Captain Sarkar and Navjot Sidhu. In which 3 ministers are also included. Its meeting has also been postponed for the third time in a row. Sidhu camp is in no mood for this meeting. Especially, he does not want to hold any such meeting under the chairmanship of Captain Amarinder Singh.

Sidhu's advisor Mali had at the same time expressed the possibility of the first rebellion failing.

Sidhu’s former advisor Mali also gave a similar suggestion
At the end of August, the ministers had revolted against the captain and demanded his removal from the CM’s chair. Malvinder Mali, then a former controversial advisor to Sidhu, had questioned his method. Mali had suggested that instead of calling a meeting of the legislature party, he would raise the issue. Had the captain not called, then Sidhu would have been called. The end of this was also to be a campaign to remove the captain from the chair.

First the high command had suppressed the rebellion
Even before this, a meeting of about 30 MLAs was held under the leadership of ministers Bajwa, Randhawa, Charanjit Channi and Sukh Sarkaria. After which there was a demand to remove the Captain from the CM’s chair. After this, three MLAs Channi, Bajwa, Randhawa and MLAs Surjit Dhiman and Varindermeet Paha also met Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat in Dehradun. After this he also went to Delhi but the high command did not give time to meet. This rebellion was suppressed there by the high command. After this, the Captain showed his strength by gathering 58 MLAs and all the MPs at the house of Sports Minister Rana Gurmeet Sodhi.

Bajwa and Randhawa’s attempt at reconciliation failed
Seeing the clout of the Captain in the Punjab Congress, Ministers Tript Rajinder Bajwa and Sukhjinder Randhawa tried to reconcile. On the pretext of making Batala a district, he wanted to meet the Captain and remove the grievances. However, the Captain scuttled the attempt at reconciliation by saying that MP Partap Singh Bajwa had already demanded it. The government is also considering that. The captain also said that if he had met, he would have told him about it before writing the letter. Both the ministers had taken a dig in response that where are they as soon as they get the captain?
