Disappointed not to play for Lancashire this summer: Shreyas Iyer Cricket News – Times of India

Lancashire (UK): India batsman Shreyas Iyer Has been dropped from Lancashire’s upcoming Royal London Cup Campaign, the club announced on Monday.
“After discussions between the club and BCCI as well as players’ representatives, it was agreed that Iyer would remain in India before returning to cricket,” Lancashire said in a statement.

“I am not able to play for Lancashire this summer, a club that has history and ambition. I look forward to playing for Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford in the future,” Iyer said.

The right-handed batsman has said that he will be available for Delhi Capitals when the IPL 2021 season resumes in the UAE in September. The remaining half of the 14th edition of the IPL is to be played in the UAE from September 19 to October 15.
