In a recent event in Hyderabad, celebrated filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma presented the trailer of his upcoming film, Vyooham, which revolves around the life of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Known for drawing inspiration from real-life events, Varma revealed that the passing of former Chief Minister YSR a decade ago sparked the idea behind this project.

He expressed his fascination with such topics as a director and mentioned that this story encompasses significant events from YS’s demise until the present day. Producer Dasari Kiran Kumar expressed that their aspiration to create an exceptional film began with Vangaveeti. He highlighted that during the research for this film, they couldn’t find any instance of a Chief Minister’s family member in India who had dedicated nine years of relentless hard work. He emphasized that no other Chief Minister’s son had encountered the same level of challenges. Kiran Kumar remarked that Jagan’s life is incredibly captivating, and there are numerous remarkable events and lesser-known aspects to it. He clarified that their goal with the movie is to present these events compellingly to the audience, but it’s not a biopic of Jagan. He pointed out that a biopic would cover his entire life from birth, whereas they focus on a specific period in his political journey to showcase the significant events that occurred during that time.
