New Delhi: After West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the formation of a commission to investigate alleged espionage using Pegasus spyware, BJP State President Dilip Ghosh on Monday termed it as a “drama” to divert people’s attention from the problems of the state.
Talking to ANI, Ghosh said that this commission has no justification in this matter.
“Mamata Banerjee has talked about setting up a commission in Pegasus case, there is no justification for it. I don’t know how far the jurisdiction of this commission will be, it will come to Delhi or Israel to investigate ( Pegasus spyware is owned by Israel) A firm has it. It’s just drama and sham. Responding to Banerjee’s remarks, Ghosh said the government has given its clarification on the issue and it has nothing to do with it.
