Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files has opened to a great response at the box office. The film addresses the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in the early 1990s. The film features Vivek’s wife and actor Pallavi Joshi in a special role, and she is also the producer of the film. Pallavi has been seen with Vivek at almost all the promotional events of The Kashmir Files and the pair has been in the news ever since the release of the film.
Vivek and Pallavi have worked together on many projects. Vivek Agnihotri said, “Working together has strengthened our bond. According to a report in Aaj Tak, Vivek says, “Working together has had a profound effect on our marriage. We both respect each other’s professional abilities.”
The two first met at a concert, but their journey from love to marriage was a long one. After dating for about three years, the two got married. Although not much is known about his personal life, Vivek once said that they met at a rock concert in 1990. “I had no personal acquaintance with him at the time; But I think we both had some commonality which we both were getting bored of in the concert,” said Vivek.
Pallavi said, “I was thirsty and Vivek had brought something for me to drink. At first I did not like Vivek very much. I thought he was a bit rude.”
But later Vivek and Pallavi became good friends. Both got to know each other better both professionally and personally. After that both of them dated for about three years. Both got married on 28 June 1997 in Mumbai. they have two children.
Vivek said, “Friendship is everything in married life. If there is no friendship in married life, it will be more clinical,” he said.
