Prime Minister Narendra Modi The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday lauded the government for changing the “male-dominated mindset” where the owner of any property or object is “traditionally male”.

“BJP has made crores of Indian home makers home owners. Every house of PM scheme is worth more than one lakh, that means BJP has made crores Big (Sister’s) millionaire, please bless us so that more Big become lakhpatis (millionaires) in the country,” PM Modi said amid cheers from women in the audience in Rewa.

At the event, the Prime Minister performed a virtual ‘Griha Pravesh’ (a ceremony performed on entering one’s new home) for 4.11 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at a function held at the SAF ground in Rewa.

PM Modi also launched various projects including the integrated e-GramSwaraj and GeM portals for procurement of goods and services at the panchayat level and redevelopment of Gwalior railway station. He flagged off three trains.
