Did Varun Sood violate COVID-19 rules after returning from the shooting of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11?

MumbaiReality TV star Varun Sood, who recently returned from South Africa after wrapping up the shooting of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’, is currently in home quarantine. While the other contestants have been asked to remain in institutional quarantine, Varun and Rahul Vaidya were exempted as they received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. They were instructed to remain in home quarantine and not to step outside.

Paparazzi made Varun sit on a bike, which caught the attention of the BMC officials. A BMC official while talking to ETimes TV insisted that Sood should not have left his house.

The MTV ‘Ace of Space’ contestant refutes rumors of going to the gym while following home quarantine. He told the entertainment portal that he went out to buy some medicines as his ankle was “very painful”. Sood said that the medical shop is located outside his building and he went to them to buy medicines.

Varun got injured while performing a stunt in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’. He has not yet disclosed the details about his injury. Sood is currently dating Divya Agarwal who gave him a special surprise on his arrival at the Mumbai airport.

‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’ will also feature several popular TV celebs including Divyank Tripathi, Shweta Tiwari, Arjun Bijlani, Anushka Sen, Vishal Aditya Singh and Sourabh Raaj Jain. ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestants including Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya and Abhinav Shukla are also participating in the stunt-based show.

Last month, the contestants went to Cape Town to start shooting for ‘KKK 11’. During the weekend, a new season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’ is expected to replace Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Dance Deewane 3’ on Colors channel.

The makers have released four promos featuring Nikki Tamboli, Arjun Bijlani, Shweta Tiwari and Divyanka Tripathi. Rohit Shetty will continue to host the show, which has a significant fan following across different age groups.
