Even after doing B.Tech, he was not getting a job. Mental fatigue surrounded him. The young man also had to come to Calcutta for the job examination. But before that BTech engineer chose the path of suicide. He committed suicide in his own house. This tragic incident took place on Friday night in Mali area of Kukuryan Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block of Jalpaiguri.
According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Shahnoor Islam. Shahnoor was to leave for Kolkata by train on Saturday morning. This incident happened in front of him. The youth was rescued and taken to Jalpaiguri Super Specialty Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. After the post-mortem, the local police handed over the body to the relatives, there is mourning in the whole village regarding the incident.
Regarding the incident, Siliguri’s DSP Headquarters Sameer Pal said, ‘A young man committed suicide in that dog area. the police has started to investigate. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family. Although no complaint has been lodged by the family.
Shahnaz Begum, mother of the deceased youth said, ‘My son had passed the railway examination two years ago. But till date he has not got that job. The pain of not getting a job always consumed him. The boy would always tell me, ‘My mom is growing up, and I can’t find a job.’
According to local sources, Shahnoor was to go to Kolkata the next day for a job exam. So he eats and drinks at night and goes to bed early in his room. Seeing the door of the house closed on Saturday morning, the family started shouting at the young man. But when the youth did not get any answer, the family members broke the door. When he entered the house, he saw the hanging dead body of the young man. He was taken to Jalpaiguri Super Specialty Hospital. However, the doctors declared him brought dead.
