Mangesh Desai, producer of Dharamveer: Mukkam Post Thane, which was a biopic of late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe, reportedly met with an accident. He and the other passengers narrowly escaped. The accident happened at Konkan Bhawan on Sion Panvel Highway.
Mangesh Desai was on his way to Karjat with his family, when the car in front of him suddenly stopped, due to which his vehicle collided. Desai, however, made a video from the accident site along with his family, to assure his fans and friends that he was fine. However, the car has suffered some serious damage. In the video he says, “Since all of you and Ganpati Bappa’s blessings are with me, nothing can happen to me. I am alright! There has been only one minor accident in which the vehicle got damaged. But there was no harm to my family. I got a lot of calls and messages about how we are. That’s why I want to tell you all that we are safe.”
Just a day back, the producer shared a post wishing everyone a very Happy Ekadashi.
On the success of Dharamveer: Mukkam Post Thane, he has said that the current Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde helped him during the making of the film by providing historically accurate facts about Anand Dighe.
The film, directed by Praveen Tarde, earned a lot at the box office.
