Congress leader Anwar Hussain died of a sudden heart attack while saluting the tricolor in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Anwar Hussain was the Mandal President of Chirkunda Nagar of the Congress Party. On the occasion of Independence Day, Anwar Hussain had attended the program at Chirkunda Shaheed Chowk in Dhanbad. After hoisting the flag, he was saluting the tricolor when he suffered a heart attack and fell on the ground. He was immediately taken to the hospital. But by then he was dead.
No one thought this would be Anwar Hussain’s last Independence Day
Anwar Hussain was an old Congress worker. He has been hoisting the flag at Chirkunda Shaheed Chowk like every year but no one thought that this would be his last Independence Day and he would die of a heart attack. At the same time, Congress leaders termed Hussain’s death as martyrdom.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren wishes Happy Independence Day
Earlier on Independence Day, Chief Minister Hemant Soren hoisted the flag at the historic Morhabadi ground. On this occasion, he greeted the people of the state. During this, he inspected the parade and presented the work done during his tenure in the state in front of the people of the state in his address. Chief Minister Hemant Soren honored 22 policemen of the state for their excellent service.
