Deve Gowda Speaks Out on Prajwal Revanna Case

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda called for action against ‘all parties involved,’ suggesting the possible participation of more individuals in the alleged sex scandal concerning his grandson Prajwal Revanna.

On his 91st birthday, Janata Dal (Secular) supremo HD Deve Gowda stated that action must be taken against all individuals involved in this case, but he refrained from naming them. This is Deve Gowda’s initial response to the allegations against Prajwal Revanna, who is reportedly in Germany.

The veteran leader also affirmed that there will be consequences for his grandson, whose father, JD(S) legislator HD Revanna, is the elder of the former Prime Minister’s two sons.

Deve Gowda stated that there will be action taken against Prajwal. Regarding Revanna, he mentioned that people have seen what has been done against him; Revanna got bail in the court, and one more order is pending. Earlier this month, Revanna was arrested by the Karnataka Police for allegedly kidnapping a woman, reported to be one of Prajwal’s victims. He was recently granted bail.

According to the report, Deve Gowda is in no mood to celebrate his birthday in light of the controversy and has cancelled the celebrations. The allegations against Prajwal, the Member of Parliament (MP) from Hassan, are being investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Karnataka Police, established by the Congress-led state government.
