DC Anish Yadav inspected the civil hospital and took stock of the arrangements.

In Haryana, 26 personnel of paramilitary forces, who came for duty in the by-election to the Ellenabad assembly seat, have got dengue. One of these jawans has been referred from Sirsa to Agroha Medical College after bleeding. 7 are admitted in Sirsa Civil Hospital. For the by-election, 2300 personnel of 23 companies of paramilitary forces are on election duty. Meanwhile, the 9-year-old only daughter of Indresh Gujjar, considered close to Gopal Kanda, Haryana Lokhit Party (Halopa) MLA from Sirsa, died of dengue.

CRPF, RAF and ITBP personnel are on duty to conduct the by-election in the Ellenabad assembly constituency in a peaceful and fair manner. 20 companies of these paramilitary forces had already reached here and 300 personnel of 3 companies reached Ellenabad on 22 October. These soldiers were accommodated by the administration in dharamshalas and government schools in Ellenabad city and surrounding villages, but fogging was not done there.

Due to this 26 jawans of different companies got caught in dengue. If we talk about the entire Sirsa district, so far this year there have been 343 dengue cases and 5 suspected dengue patients have died. There have been 10 new cases of dengue here on Saturday alone.

Daughter of MLA Gopal Kanda’s close friend dies of dengue
Sirsa MLA Gopal Kanda’s aide and Halopa leader Indresh Gujjar’s 9-year-old daughter died of dengue. The girl’s health deteriorated two days ago after which she was admitted to a hospital in Sirsa. When his health did not improve, he was referred to Hisar. Due to reduced platelets there, the girl started bleeding after which she died.

Instructions for fogging in all wards of the city
In view of the increasing number of dengue patients in the district, DC Anish Yadav has directed to conduct fogging in all the wards of the city. DC himself inspected the civil hospital and took stock of the arrangements. Apart from taking feedback on the facilities being provided to the patients in the dengue ward, the DC also asked the officials to increase testing and make people aware to be aware of dengue. He said that more and more houses, offices or shops should be tested for larvae and notices should be given to the owners where larvae are found.
