Gyms and banquet halls were closed on April 19, when Delhi was facing a brutal second wave of COVID 19. In the second week of May, weddings were allowed in homes and courts with no more than 20 people in attendance.

Delhi on Saturday recorded 85 new coronavirus cases, its lowest daily count this year. With this, the number of COVID-19 cases in the national capital has crossed 14.33 lakh, while the death toll has gone up to 24,961.

According to the latest bulletin issued by the Health Department of Delhi, 9 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 positivity rate in the national capital stood at 0.12 per cent.
