The Meteorological Department said that the relative humidity was 73 percent at 8.30 am.
Meteorologists have predicted a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain or thundershowers in the afternoon or evening.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 39 degree Celsius.
On Thursday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 41.8 degrees Celsius, five notches above the normal and the minimum temperature at 30.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the normal.
