New Delhi: Delhi on Saturday reported 4,483 COVID-19 cases with a slight increase in the number of infections in the national capital, according to the data released by the city’s health department.

The positivity rate of the cases in Delhi has dropped below 7.41% in 24 hours – from 9% on Saturday. But Delhi has witnessed a marginal surge in the number of deaths from yesterday as 28 deaths have been reported in the national capital.
Meanwhile, the number of containment zones in the city stood at 39, 869 on Saturday, a fall from 41,095 on Friday.
Delhi is going through a curfew-free weekend with the revised restrictions in the national capital. However, the night curfew is still underway on weekdays from 10 pm to 5 am.
Mumbai COVID-19 cases tally
The financial capital of our country has reported 1,411 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, 3,574 recoveries, and 11 people died due to complications related to the infection, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

The total tally of cases in Mumbai is 10,44,470 and the death toll reached 16,602 as per the BMC data. Mumbai’s case recovery rate now stands at 97 percent while the case doubling rate increased to 322 days, the report said.
There are no containment zones in Mumbai but 13 buildings remain sealed as per protocol after more than five persons in each of these buildings were found infected with the coronavirus infection.
For the first time in the ongoing third wave in the country, Dharavi recorded no new cases on Friday after a gap of over a month.
