Officials gave this information on Friday. Police said they have taken cognizance of the video and the video is being analyzed to ascertain necessary details. Officials said ACP Paharganj and SHO Paharganj have also been asked to collect details of the Japanese foreigner living in the area and establish the identity of the boys seen in the video through officials and local intelligence.

“Prima facie, based on the landmarks seen in the video, it appears that the video pertains to Paharganj, however, it is being verified whether any such incident took place in that area or the video is old,” officials said.

No complaint or call of any kind of misbehavior with any foreigner has been received in Thana Paharganj. He said an e-mail has been sent to the Japanese embassy requesting help in establishing the identity of the girl or any other details about the incident.

Police said the boys seen in the video have been identified after intensive efforts by the jurisdictional officers and local intelligence agencies. “Three boys including a juvenile have been apprehended and interrogated. They have confessed/confessed about the incident/s seen in the video. They all are residents of nearby Pahar Ganj and had come to that place to enjoy Holi. Gone are the ways.” the officer said.
