Delhi Police arrests 15 associates of gangster Deepak Boxer in one month

New Delhi: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested 15 associates of gangster Deepak “Boxer” in the last one month, officials said on Sunday (May 7). “Boxer” was captured in Mexico and brought to Delhi on 5 April. He was arrested by the Delhi Police after his deportation from Mexico.

The boxer has been interrogated by the Special Cell. He has been arrested in MCOCA case and brought to 14 days police custody by NDR Special Cell. During prolonged interrogation, the gangster has disclosed his involvement in more than two dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder and extortion.

15 associates arrested

“Accused Deepak Boxer has been interrogated at length and has revealed his involvement in more than two dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder and extortion. During the investigation of the case, 15 of his associates have been arrested,” said HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell).

The associates who have been arrested are Deepak Pahal (26), Ravinder Pahal (21), Vikram Dahiya (27), Sachin Mann (30), Sandeep Narwal (32), Gavin Grang (30), Amit Gulati (31), Dinesh Mathur alias Karala (35), Kapil alias Gaurav (32), Rohit alias Moi (28), Vijay Mann alias Kapil (26), Yogesh alias Tunda (30), Ankesh Lakra (35), Mehfooz Khan alias Bhura (47) and Mohd. Junaid (25).

During investigation it was revealed that Mahfuz Khan alias Bhura Dalal (47) and his associate Mohd. Police said Junaid (25), a resident of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, had helped gangster Deepak get fake passports and other forged documents.

According to the police, both of them helped Deepak get a fake passport and other documents in the name of Ravi Antil, a resident of Moradabad. At his instance, 15 passports, seven Aadhaar cards, seven PAN cards and six voter cards have been seized.

Role played in Jitendra Gogi’s escape from custody

According to the police, during interrogation, Deepak revealed that in 2015, Deepak Bajana had introduced him to gangster Jitendra Mann alias Gogi, who was then evading arrest. Deepak the boxer wanted to make a big name and joined the Gogi gang. The officer said that after Gogi was arrested in 2016, his associates planned to escape from police custody.

“Gangster Deepak, along with some associates of Gogi, boarded the bus in which Gogi was in police custody, while two cars carrying other gang members followed the Haryana Roadways bus. When the bus reached Sakol, Bahadurgarh, So both the cars a member of the gang threw red chilli powder in the eyes of the policemen, Deepak along with others snatched arms and ammunition from them and freed Gogi.

Role in Kuldeep Fajja’s escape from custody

According to officials, gangster Deepak also revealed that in March 2021, on the instructions of Gogi, gang members including him had planned to escape from police custody when Kuldeep Fajja came to GTB Hospital for medical examination.

Deepak Boxer visited GTB Hospital and logistics were arranged. When Kuldeep Fajja was brought for medical checkup, all of them attacked the police personnel and released Kuldeep Fajja from custody. The police retaliated in which his accomplice Ravi was killed and Ankesh Lakda was injured. Deepak Mukkabaz and Fajja fled after looting a bike. Later, the team of NDR, Special Cell killed Kuldeep Fajja in an encounter.

Boxer and his associate arrested in MCOCA case

It may be noted that a case under Section 3/4 MCOC Act has also been registered against the ‘Organised Crime Syndicate’ headed by the accused Jitendra Gogi (now deceased) and his associates at Police Station Alipore, Delhi.

Members of this organized crime syndicate are involved in murder, attempt to murder, dacoity, extortion and other heinous crimes. There are more than 60/70 cases registered against the members of this organized crime syndicate. During the investigation, the Special Cell has arrested 16 members of this organized crime syndicate in this case.

Six charge sheets have already been filed before the court and the matter is sub judice. Charges have already been framed against 15 accused. The accused Deepak Pahal alias Boxer (26) was declared a proclaimed offender in this MCOCA case.

Deepak Boxer has been arrested in the MCOCA case and sent to police custody for 14 days by the NDR Special Cell. He was interrogated at length and has revealed his involvement in several murders, attempt to murder and extortion. The matter is being further investigated.
