Delhi Metro: Section Of Airport Line To Remain Shut For 2 Hours On Sunday

Delhi Metro services will be suspended for two hours on the morning of April 30 due to scheduled track maintenance work on a portion of the Airport Express Line, officials said on Friday.

He said that work will be done between Dhaula Kuan and Delhi Aerocity section of the corridor from 5.30 am to 7.30 am. Due to this, services will be run sparingly on this line for these two hours.

If work is going on on the second track, trains will run on a single line between Dhaula Kuan and Airport (T-3) metro stations. The DMRC said in a statement that normal train operations will continue on the Airport to Dwarka-21 and Dhaula Kuan to New Delhi sections.

Officials said that with this, the number of trains originating from both sides will be available on the Airport Express Line with increased headway.

Passengers availing Airport Express Line services during these hours are advised to plan their journey accordingly. Normal train movement will be available after 7:30 am as per the normal timetable on the entire Airport Express line, the statement said.
