New Delhi: Delhi Police said that action will be taken on Friday against the negligent policemen in the Kanjhawala death case. Further, the MHA recommended that Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora take disciplinary action against these police personnel posted at three police control rooms (PCR) and two police pickets of Delhi Police. Officials associated with the investigation told ANI that the Ministry of Home Affairs has also suggested that the Delhi Police Commissioner issue show cause notices against the supervisory officers considering negligence in the investigation in the case. The ministry also suggested that the Delhi Police file a charge sheet against the culprits in the court at the earliest and take all necessary steps so that they are punished.

The Home Ministry made the recommendation after receiving a detailed report from the Delhi Police regarding the incident that took place on New Year’s morning in outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala area.
