A heart-wrenching video has surfaced from Badarpur area of Delhi. In Khan Sabzi Mandi area of Badarpur, a tanker of Delhi Jal Board becomes uncontrollable and climbs on a crowd of people. Five people were injured when the trucker hit them. Three of the injured have suffered minor injuries, while two have suffered fractures. All the injured have been admitted to Trauma Center at Apollo and AIIMS.
Video of incident viral on social media
The video of the incident is from June 14, which is going viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that everything remains normal in the crowded market at first. People are roaming freely in the market and shopping. Then all of a sudden a water tanker comes to that crowded market and runs fast, hitting the people. By the time people understand, a lot of damage has been done.
Police detained the owner of the tanker
According to the South-East Delhi Police, the incident was reported on the evening of June 14 (Tuesday). Police have registered a case against the accused driver under section 279/337 of IPC. Police said that the owner of the tanker has been taken into custody in this case and further investigation is on.
