Delhi: Gang rape of a girl forcibly after drinking alcohol in Dwarka, attempted murder by strangulation, police saved her by breaking the door

In Dwarka South area, a case of gang-rape has come to light with a girl forcibly drinking alcohol on the pretext of a job. When she resisted the incident, an attempt was made to kill the victim by strangling her. After this the accused hit her in the face with his heavy iron rod. After the incident, the accused fled away leaving the girl in injured condition in the hotel.

The girl somehow informed the police. Later shared his live location with the police. After this the police reached the injured girl. The girl was rescued from the second floor by breaking the hotel door. He was later admitted to DDU Hospital.

Dwarka South Police has arrested hotel manager Sanjay Kumar Mahato by registering a case of rape, gang-rape, attempt to murder, causing grievous hurt, threatening to kill, criminal conspiracy and other sections. Police are looking for the main accused Ankit Sehrawat. The police is also investigating with the CCTV cameras installed in the hotel.

Senior police officer of Dwarka district said that the victim Sapna (25) (name changed) lives with the family in Dwarka area. She works as a sales girl. He was looking for a good job. Recently, a young man named Ankit Sehrawal met her and promised to get a good job for Sapna. It is alleged that on Saturday evening, the accused called Sapna and asked her to meet her. The two met at Bikaner Sweets.

After this, at around 8.00 pm, the accused took the victim to the Silver Palace Hotel near Sector-9 by sitting on his bike. There the victim refused to enter the hotel. After this the accused said that everyone knows him in the hotel, his mother is a police officer herself. He has just come to the hotel to talk about the job. The accused took Sapna to the second floor. On reaching there in room number-202, the accused forcibly made the victim drink liquor. When he resisted, he was beaten up. The accused raped her by threatening to kill her.

When the victim raised an alarm, the accused also tried to strangle her with the help of other people. Later he attacked the victim with his stern and bled him. After the incident, the accused fled from there after threatening to kill him. Seeing Sapna’s condition, the rest of the hotel staff also fled from there. While leaving, the accused also fled after closing the hotel door. Sapna called. After that shared your location. The police who reached the spot could hear Sapna’s screams, but the hotel door was closed. Sapna was brought down from the second floor by breaking the door. After this he was sent to the hospital with the help of PCR. After investigation, on Sunday, the police registered a case under various sections. The police are suspecting that the hotel staff was also involved in the incident. Therefore, sections of gang rape have been added to it.
