Delhi Excise Coverage: A day after Delhi L-G advisable a CBI probe, Delhi L-G VK Saxena has directed the chief secretary to submit a report on position of officers and civil servants within the alleged “unlawful” formulation, amendments and implementation of the Delhi Excise Coverage 2021-22, official sources stated on Saturday.

Saxena has already advisable a CBI probe into the alleged violations of guidelines and procedural lapses associated to the Excise Coverage 2021-22 of the Kejriwal authorities. The advice of CBI probe by the LG was based mostly on a report of the Chief Secretary.

“Taking severe notice of the gross violations and deliberate lapses within the formulation, modification and implementation of the Delhi Excise Coverage 2021-22, the LG has requested the Chief Secretary to submit an in depth report concerning the position performed by officers and civil servants in your entire matter,” a supply stated. 

The LG has sought a complete report of actions, dealings and scrutiny of recordsdata and particulars of the position performed by officers, the sources stated.
