Delhi Crime: A tragic incident too place in Delhi’s Munrika area where three bodies were recovered from a flat. As per the information, a mother and her two children were found dead having their wrists cut.
Upon reaching the incident spot, police found the door locked from inside. The police broke the door to enter the apartment. After getting inside, the police witness a crime scene having three dead bodies lying there. The wrists of all three were cut. Husband of the deceased woman is posted as a constable in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau).
The Delhi Police received information about the alleged suicide in a flat in Munirka area at 10:30 in the morning. On this, the police entered the fourth floor of house number E-108/3 after the fire brigade employees broke the door.
During this time it was found that three dead bodies were lying on the mattress. There was a woman and two children (4 years and 2.5 years) in it. The police has suspected that the wrists of all three were cut with a sharp weapon.
The woman has been identified as Varsha Sharma (27 years), wife of Jagendra Sharma, originally resident of Moradabad (UP). The couple got married in the year 2017.
In the preliminary investigation, the police has suspected that the victims have died by suicide. The reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
Woman dies by suicide after cutting children’s wrists
In the initial investigation, the police believe that the woman cut the wrists of both the children. After which, she took the extreme step by cutting her wrist.The crime branch of the police along with FSL have inspected the incident site. The case is being investigated.
