Delhi Court issues notice to Yo Yo Honey Singh after wife’s new application

New Delhi: A Delhi court has issued notice to Bollywood singer Yo Yo Honey Singh alias Hrdesh Singh after his wife Shalini Singh filed a fresh application. An ANI report said that in her application, Shalini sought to restrain third parties from creating rights over movable and immovable property owned by him or his companies in the UAE.

Talwar filed an application to restrain the singer from making any third party rights over his property in the UAE.

Earlier this month, Singh had appeared in the Tis Hazari Court in the domestic violence case. Shalini has demanded Rs 20 crore as compensation from her estranged husband under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

The court has listed the domestic violence case involving Singh for the next hearing on September 28.

Honey Singh’s wife alleges domestic violence

Last month, Shalini Talwar filed a domestic violence case against Singh at Tis Hazari Court, Delhi. He has made serious allegations against the rapper in his 118-page complaint. Talwar accused her of indulging in casual sex and “brutally hitting”, according to IANS.

She also alleged that she was physically, verbally and emotionally abused by Honey Singh and his family. In her petition, Shalini claimed that she was “physically assaulted” by the ‘Blue Eyes’ hitmaker in the last ten years of their marriage. The two tied the knot in January 2011.

Honey Singh’s upcoming projects

The music video has so far garnered over 50 million views on YouTube. The rapper is yet to announce his next project after the success of ‘Kanta Laga’. Despite getting millions of views, the song has garnered rave reviews on social media platforms.
