A Delhi Police head constable succumbed to his injuries after shooting himself with his service pistol inside the Paharganj police station on Thursday, officials said.

A senior police officer said that a suicide note has also been recovered in which Devender has said that he took the extreme step due to personal reasons.
Action is being taken under section 174 CrPC. The post-mortem was conducted at Lady Hardinge Medical College and his body was sent to his native place in Sonipat, Haryana, the official said.
