Corona cases have started increasing in the country. More than 3 thousand new cases have been found for the fifth consecutive day. On Sunday, 3,157 cases of corona were found in the country. At the same time, 26 people died due to infection. With this, the active cases of corona in the country increased from 19,092 to 19,500. There has been an increase of 400 in active cases in a single day.
On Monday, the positivity rate of the country increased to 1.07%. Till Sunday it was 0.71%. The weekly positivity rate also increased from 0.68% to 0.70%. However, yesterday 2,723 people also recovered from Corona. The maximum number of 1,485 cases were found in Delhi. After this, 475 cases have been registered in Haryana, 314 in Kerala, 268 in Uttar Pradesh, 169 in Maharashtra and 104 in Karnataka. Out of 26 deaths in 24 hours, 21 have happened in Kerala.
Positivity rate in Delhi is 4.89%
The positivity rate in Delhi stood at 4.89% on Sunday. On Saturday, 1,520 new cases were found. The number of active patients here has increased to 5997. There are currently 920 containment zones here. However, no one died due to Corona here on Sunday. Here on Saturday 1 and on Friday 2 people died due to corona infection.
Government cannot force people to take vaccine
The Supreme Court on Monday said that no person can be compelled to be vaccinated. A bench of Justices L Nageswara Rao and BR Gavai observed that the physical integrity of a person cannot be breached without permission under Article 21.
