New Delhi: A case of rape of a seven-year-old girl has come to light during the marriage ceremony. Central Delhi‘s Ranjeet Nagar area on Sunday. One of the guests has been arrested by the police.
According to the police, they reached the spot after getting information about the incident. The girl was admitted to the hospital and a case has been registered.
An official said they scanned videos and photographs of the wedding ceremony as part of the investigation. “We found that the girl went to a place where some people were sitting while playing. One of them took her to a secluded place and beat her up,” the officer said. “The accused has confessed his crime.”
