Deepotsav 2021: Ayodhya Enters Guinness Book Again For Lighting Up Over 9 Lakh Diyas

Ayodhya: The grand Deepotsav celebrations have begun in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh by lighting more than 9.5 lakh earthen lamps on the banks of river Saryu as part of Diwali 2021. According to reports, Ayodhya has once again entered the Guinness Book of World Records with Roshni. More than 9.5 lakh diyas.

To make Ayodhya grand on the special occasion, lamps have been decorated on 32 ghats of Ram ki Paidi. All the roads, temples and lanes of the city have lit up with Ram’s foot. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also reached Ayodhya to be a part of the mega festival.

CM Yogi welcomes Shobha Yatra:

State CM Yogi Adityanath welcomed the Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Deepotsav.

During the Shobha Yatra, CM Yogi Adityanath garlanded the artists who played the role of Lord Ram, Lord Laxman and Goddess Sita.

Special security arrangements made:

Special security arrangements have also been made for the fifth Deepotsav program being held in Ayodhya. Police personnel are stationed at every nook and corner of the holy city. Barricades have also been put up at many places.

Also, the road from Naya Ghat to Ram ki Paidi has been blocked. Barricades have been put up on both sides and no one is allowed to go from the new ghat to Ram ki Paidi. Traffic on the old bridge over Saryu has also been stopped.
