Bollywood actress and producer Deepika Padukone She won the Global Achievers Award on Friday, becoming the first Indian actress to achieve the feat. The list of winners was announced by international media agency HBW News. The Global Achievers Award is for exceptional contributions in diverse fields including healthcare, education, hospitality, tourism, real estate, architecture, engineering, fashion, arts, entertainment and e-commerce. This year’s winners list includes Barack Obama, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jeff Bezos.
Deepika has reportedly emerged as a winner out of a total of 3000 nominations this year. Other Indian achievers include Byju’s founder Byju Raveendran, Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal, Ola Cabs co-founder Bhavesh Agarwal among many other entrepreneurs.

This is not the only international fame the actress has achieved. Deepika will star in and produce her second Hollywood film in association with STXfilms. It will reportedly be a cross-cultural romantic comedy. Deepika made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

On the work front, she will be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83’ opposite Ranveer Singh. Deepika also has Shakun Batra’s untitled film in her kitty in which she will be seen alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter in which she will star opposite Hrithik Roshan. The star will be reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathan, which will also feature John Abraham in the lead. He also has The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.
