Deepika Padukone was part of a nine-member jury that chose the winners of this year’s Palme d’Or honors at a ceremony in Cannes on May 28. Other members of the jury included actor-filmmaker Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace and Italian actors. -Director Jasmine Trinka, as well as directors Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Lee, Jeff Nichols and Joachim Trier.
