Mumbai’s sessions court will now deliver its verdict on August 20 on the bail plea of jailed Raj Kundra in pornography case. Raj Kundra was arrested on 19 July. He was first put on police remand till July 27, while the fort court (Esplanade Court) later remanded him to 14 days judicial custody. Along with Raj Kundra, his IT head Ryan Thorpe’s bail plea was also heard today. The decision on Ryan’s bail plea will also come on 20.
The details of the interrogation of Kundra by the Mumbai Police have been presented in the court today. Based on this answer, the court will decide its decision. Bail petition has been rejected once earlier

The police also told the court that they have solid evidence against Raj Kundra and the crime branch has seized 68 adult videos from Raj Kundra’s office.

- Section 67, 67(A) of the Information Technology Act – Putting and disseminating obscene material in electronic form
- Section 2(G) 3, 4, 6, 7 – Making, selling and disseminating obscene films relating to women.
