Decision of BSP candidates in Amit Shah’s room; Party’s aim is to help BJP: Om Prakash Rajbhari

The names of Bahujan Samaj Party candidates were finalized in Home Minister Amit Shah’s room and the party is contesting the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections with the aim of helping the BJP, alleges SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar, while people were forced to favor Mayawati. Cautioning against voting in the I-led party. The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief slammed Yogi Adityanath over his repeated bulldozer jibes, saying, “Will put your bulldozer on the Pokeland (machine), and send it back to your home”.

In an interview with PTI during his hectic campaign schedule in the Purvanchal region, Rajbhar said people have made up their mind to change the government, and expressed confidence that the Samajwadi Party-led coalition, of which his party is a part, should will get clear. majority.

On claims made in certain circles that his party may join hands with the BJP again after the elections, Rajbhar said the people of the BJP are the “biggest liars”.

“They are trained to lie in Nagpur,” he alleged in an apparent reference to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur.

The SBSP had contested the 2017 election in alliance with the BJP. Now it is in alliance with SP to take on BJP.

Asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s allegations of Samajwadi Party supporting terrorists, he instead took a dig at the saffron party, saying it is fine if it has an alliance with Mehbooba Mufti, but when the SP’s leadership If the coalition talks about the rights of Muslims, then it is wrong.

When asked whether parties like BSP can spoil the alliance, Rajbhar said, “What can I say that people are not even paying notice to parties like Congress and BSP.

He said people have made up their mind to oust the BJP from power and the only option is a SP-led alliance.

Stating that the BSP was contesting the elections with the aim of helping the BJP form the government, he alleged that the BSP candidates are decided at Shah’s behest, in his room and the election symbol is given only in the BSP office. .

He cautioned people against voting in favor of the party led by Mayawati.

Talking about the major issues that will be taken into consideration by the people while casting their votes, Rajbhar said that a big issue is that of stray cattle, followed by unemployment.

He highlighted that the SP-SBSP alliance has promised around 300 units of free electricity, free medical facilities to the poor and caste census within six months.

“People have faith in us. We talk about rights and that’s why people are with us.”

Emphasizing that “change is in the air”, Rajbhar said that people across Uttar Pradesh are fed up with the issue of inflation, corruption, “gunda raj” and stray cattle.

The SBSP chief said that the reaction of the people is in front of everyone and the same sentiment is prevalent in all parts of UP.

He said the BJP was talking about terrorism but not about basic things like food, shelter, clothes, education and medicine.

“How will people get education, how will they get employment, how peace and tranquility is maintained. They don’t care about all these things. They (BJP) only spread hatred.”

On Yogi Adityanath’s statement that it was 80 per cent versus 20 per cent election, Rajbhar said, “We talk about 85-15” – a reference to the backward community.

Stating that it was “no contest” with the BJP, he expressed confidence that his party would form the next government in the state with an absolute majority in alliance with the SP and other allies.

Be it Ballia, Mau, Ghazipur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, BJP will not open an account here. I am roaming in all the circles, the people of the state want change.

He also opposed Adityanath’s statement that there has been a vast improvement in the law and order situation in the state.

“The law and order is so good that after the rape of a girl in Hathras, her body was set ablaze with petrol. A businessman was murdered in a hotel in his (Adityanath) district.

Rajbhar claimed, “Any Dalit, oppressed, underprivileged is being beaten up in the police station, when he goes there to complain, no FIR is being registered.”

He alleged that the law and order thing he talks about only on TV and in newspapers is in “poor condition” on the ground.

The SBSP is contesting 18 seats in alliance with the SP. Rajbhar himself is facing a triangular contest against BJP’s Kalicharan Rajbhar and BSP’s Shadab Fatima from Zahoorabad in Ghazipur district of eastern Uttar Pradesh.
