Deadpool & Wolverine footage was shown at the ongoing CinemaCon and it has packed in a few cameos along with some epic one-liners.

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans attending the CinemaCon were in for a treat as Marvel Studios showed them a nine-minute footage of Deadpool & Wolverine. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the footage was described as ‘f**king awesome’ by Marvel head Kevin Feige. As reported by multiple international publications, the footage was packed with several one-liners that poked fun at Fox being acquired by Disney, and Kevin Feige and even confirmed Thor’s appearance in the film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the nine-minute Deadpool & Wolverine CinemaCon footage opened with Wade Wilson riding in a car with chidren and expressing his interest of having kids some day. However, the scene quickly gets the R-rated twist with Wade announcing he ‘doesn’t have a lot of vaginal sex.’ The video then shows Rob Delaney’s Peter trying to convince Wade to return to the superhero world but it is quickly cut into a surprise party where he is reunited with a few old friends.

At the party, he jokes that Great British Bake Off saved him from suicide and added that the only thing Kevin Feige told him was ‘off limits’ was cocaine. It is reported that fans were then taken back to the events shown in the Super Bowl trailer, showing Wade crossing paths with TVA. Once at the TVA office with Matthew MacFadyen’s character Paradox, Deadpool learns he has been chosen to save the sacred timeline.

Deadpool then watches Chris Evans’ Captain America on one of the screens and salutes him while another video shows Chris Hemsworth’s Thor crying over Deadpool’s body. “That happens in the distant future,” Paradox informed Wade. The footage came to an end with Deadpool reminding everyone that he is ‘Marvel Jesus’ and that he is ready for Disneyland. The footage also concluded with Ryan Reynolds’ anti-hero getting a new suit.

The new footage makes it evident that Marvel fans are in for an epic ride this summer. Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in cinemas on July 26.
