DC sets cast for ‘Injustice’ animated film

The full voiceovers for Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s animated Injustice film have been revealed. The feature will be based on the popular ‘Gods Among Us’ game as well as Tom Taylor’s ‘Gods Among Us: Year One’ comic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story takes place on an alternate Earth where the Joker deceives Superman and sends the protagonist on a rampage to kill Lois Lane. This unsuspecting Superman decides to take control of Earth for his own good, forcing Batman and his allies to try to stop him.

The animated film is being produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ launched in 2013 as both a mobile game and a game console, with members of the DC universe playing against each other in death matches reminiscent of ‘Mortal Kombat’ , which is also produced by Netherlands Studio.
