Data Privacy Day 2023: In celebration of Data Privacy Day, US-based tech giant Apple has launched a new set of educational resources designed to help users take control of their data.
“As threats to the privacy and security of personal information continue to grow, a new at Apple session today will educate users on how they can keep their data safe.” Apple has also partnered with Apple TV + Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed in “A Day” to bring more awareness “to the data in the average person’s life,” the company said in a blog post.
The new features will be active on January 28. A new at Apple session today, “Taking Charge of Your Privacy on iPhone,” will explore features including Mail privacy protections, Security Checkup, Location Services, and Passkeys. In this session, attendees will learn how they can customize each feature based on their personal privacy preferences. This session will be of 30 minutes and will be free for all.
“We built what we at Apple are today to spark creativity and enable our customers to get the most out of our Apple products and features,” said Tracy Hanley, Apple’s senior director of Retail Engagement and Marketing.

Apple describes it as, “The whimsical short film “A Day in the Life of the Average Person’s Data” invites users to follow Apple TV+ Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed through his average day, explaining that How bad actors misuse data – and how Apple works to protect their personal information.”
