Danny Wyatt returns to England women’s T20 squad against India

Flamboyant batsman Danny Wyatt has returned to England’s squad for three women’s T20 Internationals against India starting July 9 in Northampton.

The second and third WT20Is will be held at Hove (11 July) and Chelmsford (14 July) respectively.

The multi-format series sits at 6–4 in England, with two points each T20I.

Danny Wyatt is back at 14 alongside Maddie Villiers, while Kate Cross and Lauren Winfield-Hill are back to play for their regional teams and will be available for Charlotte Edwards Cup action later this week.

Head coach Lisa Keightley said: “We’ve played some good cricket in both Tests and ODIs and we named a strong team for the IT20 series. It’s 6-4 in a multi-format series and we look hard to win. are working hard.

“We probably weren’t doing our best in the third ODI so I want us to go on the field in IT20 first and be ruthless.”
