British actor Daniel Radcliffe’s latest film The Lost City is a comedy-action drama that released in India last week. Directed by Aaron and Adam Nye, the film also stars Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, along with guest appearances by Brad Pitt. Radcliffe recently shared his experience working with such stellar actors in an interview.
The 32-year-old actor told Empire, “Working with Sandy was a real “pinch yourself” moment, because I grew up watching her, and have been a fan of her for so long. So to really be in one. Filming with him is still a brainstorm for me.”
Radcliffe stars as the antagonist Abigail Fairfax in The Lost City, and told Empire that when he was reading the script he knew Sandra and Channing were in the lead. The actor said that he was just reading the script and was thinking that he wanted to watch the film as an audience as well.
Talking about his favorite film of Sandra, Radcliffe told Empire that he saw the 1994 film Speed relatively late in life, but described it as “the greatest film of all time”. And while you were sleeping. Radcliffe also praised Sandra as a professional, saying that the actress has had an “incredible career”.
However, after working with Sandra, Radcliffe said that watching her films now feels “weird”. Explaining his reason, the actor said that by watching his movies he gets to know that he has worked with the famous actress whom he saw while growing up. Radcliffe also shared that the 57-year-old actress encouraged him to call her Sandy. However, when at home Radcliffe talks about Sandra as Sandy, his friends tease him by saying, “Oh! Sandy, right?” The actor admitted that it felt strange to call Sandra Sandy, but since he has asked her to do so, he accepts.
