Greater Noida: A speeding truck rammed his bike from behind on GT Road, killing one of his siblings. dadri Police said on Monday afternoon.

In the impact of the collision, both Shruti and Prince fell off the bike and suffered serious head injuries. “Eventually, he died on the spot. Only Rajkumar was wearing a helmet,” said a police officer.
Prince Shruti was the youngest of five siblings including Prati, Sapna and Kshama. He was studying in class XII, while Shruti was pursuing her post-graduation.
Family members told that Shruti was suffering from fever for the last few days and Prince was taking her to a doctor in Dadri.
Dadri police station in-charge Pradeep tripathi Said that they have confiscated the truck. “The truck driver fled from the spot leaving his vehicle behind. Efforts are on to identify the driver,” Tripathi said.
Police said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and an FIR has been registered in the matter. “An FIR has been registered against the unidentified truck driver for negligence and death due to rash and negligent driving,” the SHO said.
