A: It is expected that the cyclonic storm will make landfall between Gopalpur in Odisha and Kalingapatnam of Andhra Pradesh. The landfall process will start from 6 pm on Sunday.

A: The wind speed during landfall will be between 75 kmph to 85 kmph and the wind speed will be 95 kmph. The landfall process will start after 6 pm and more winds will blow to the right of the landfall site. The impact of the cyclonic storm can be felt within a radius of 100 km from the center of the storm where heavy rain, strong wind may be experienced during landfall and for six to eight hours thereafter. The maximum rainfall is likely on Sunday and its intensity will remain high for the next six to eight hours. By Monday, it will be a deep depression and its intensity will reduce. Ganjam, Gajapati district in Odisha and Srikakulam And Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh is likely to be the most affected.

A: No, I don’t know who is spreading this rumour. So far IMD has not given any forecast of another cyclonic storm. However, the cyclone season has started from October and there will be more cyclonic systems in the coming days. But IMD has not been formed yet.
