Telugu actress Kriti Shetty is currently facing a tough phase in her career after several flops. Despite achieving a blockbuster hit with the film Uppena, her other films received only average reviews, making her lag behind in comparison to other actresses. She made a promising debut in the industry with positive reviews for her second film Upanna but her subsequent films with big stars received mixed responses at the box office.
Her latest film Custody, which is her second collaboration with Naga Chaitanya, also did not fetch much success for her. It is being said that there was little scope for the actress to showcase her talent in the action-packed film.
Rumors are also doing the rounds on social media about Kriti Shetty that she might undergo plastic surgery due to the alleged change in her facial features. However, Kriti has strongly denied these rumours.
The actress has been involved in various projects with some big stars like Nithiin, Nani, Ram Pothineni and Naga Chaitanya. But, it appears that Kriti made some wrong choices in terms of stories and characters, which resulted in consecutive flops.
Furthermore, her recent films such as Macherla Niyojakavargam with Nithiin, the bilingual film The Warrior with Ram Pothineni and Custody with Naga Chaitanya have been widely considered to be box office disasters. Adding to the list of disappointments, he also starred in Sudheer Babu-Indraganti Mohan Krishna’s Aa Ammai Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, which turned out to be another flop.

It would be beneficial for Kriti Shetty to choose roles that provide her an opportunity to showcase her talent and explore diverse characters, rather than simply relying on formulaic films or hero-centric stories.
