Common University Entrance Test (CUET) The dates are out and it is clashing with the national level medical entrance exam – NEET, While CUET is scheduled to be conducted from July 15 and will continue till August 10, NEET will be conducted in the middle of July 17. The candidates who are going to appear in both the exams want to postpone NEET due to the clash of dates.
NEET aspirants have sought deferment on social media platforms, Twitter, with the hashtags #JUSTICEforNEETUG, #postponeneetug2022, and #shiftNEETUG. This is also the first time that CUET will be conducted for admission in all central universities and colleges across India.

The students have demanded more time to prepare for NEET and want a gap of at least 40 days between the two exams. “We can’t breathe please give us enough time to prepare. The majority want an adjournment. What will the candidates do in the exam hall if they are not ready then please do your work with kindness! We are also humans, not robots!” One of the Twitter users wrote.
The CUET dates are clearly clashing with the NEET UG exam. Why is the government still silent? Can’t they see the female level of the students appearing in both the exams.#JUSTICEforNEETUG#postponeneetug2022 #shiftnetg @DG_NTA @dpradhanbjp @narendramodi @PMOIndia

Government should not put so much pressure on students#neat #CUET exams are taking place at the same time
NEET should be after JEE Mains so that students can prepare well

#CUET Today releasing dates which are clashing #neatg2022 Till here #JEEMains2022 Second attempt in July@DG_NTA Similarly, why is there emphasis on fixed dates for students?
How will they prepare? At least give them proper time

Apart from this, candidates have also started an online petition, which has been signed by over 24,000 students, according to PTI. Students have claimed that the counseling for NEET 2021 ended in March, leaving them with little time to prepare for NEET 2022. “Postponement of NEET UG by 50 days will not hamper the ongoing session or upcoming session because it will not start before February 2023. Dropper needs a fair chance,” tweeted a Twitter user.
“How can we revise such a huge syllabus in just 3 months? Apart from this, other important exams like Board Exams, CUCET, JEE Mains are also scheduled around the same time. Imagine the trauma and pressure we students have to bear with these all-important exams scheduled one after the other. Is this an appropriate decision?” the petition said.
