University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has said that the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Postgraduate 2023 will be conducted from June 1 to June 10 and the registration process will start from mid-March.

“National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct CUET-PG from 1st to 10th June 2023. The application process is to begin in mid-March 2023. Great opportunity for students to try for admission in many universities in postgraduate programs using CUET-PG score,” Kumar tweeted.

The exam is conducted in computer-based test mode and last year was accepted by 66 universities, most of which are centrally conducted. The exam was conducted in two shifts from September 1 to 12 this year in more than 500 Indian cities and 13 overseas locations. On the basis of marks obtained in CUET PG 2022, students will be able to take admission in postgraduate courses in universities.

Delhi University (DU) has decided to conduct Not only UG but also PG admission through CUET from next academic cycle. A resolution for this was passed by its executive council last week. Last month, the academic council of the university passed a resolution to change the admission pattern for postgraduate programmes. The change in admission pattern of postgraduate programs was proposed by a 10-member committee constituted to suggest strategy for PG admissions from 2023-2024.

National Testing Agency (NTA) CUET UG 2023 will be conducted first from May 21 to 31 and again from June 1 to June 7. The application process for this will start in the first week of February. The exam pattern will remain the same as last year.
